Such a fantastic experience!!! My sister first went diving with Greg in 1997 and highly recommended him to us....20 years later my son Quinn( 9 years old)went for his first dive with Cassie, (Greg’s daughter) We came from Nebraska and this was his first experience in the ocean.... with fish, and he had an amazing time! My family and I came back to Kauai in July 2019 and this time my son went diving with Greg and yet again had an awesome experience where they saw an assortment of sea life including turtles, eels and even a reef shark! To say the least my son was hooked! In December 2019 I decided to take Quinn back to Kauai to get PADI certified with Watersports Adventurers(for his 12th birthday) Cassie was his instructor and was AMAZING! (she even sang Happy Birthday to him in Hawaiian!) We now live in San Diego so it would have been convenient to do the certification here, but because of the amazing and safe experiences we had with Greg and Cassie I wouldn’t have dreamed of going anywhere else! Plus I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my son. Cassie and Greg have given my son such an awesome opportunity and taught him to appreciate, respect and love the ocean and all of the creatures in it, especially on Kauai! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cassie, Greg and Watersports Adventures. I definitely know we will be going back and I would encourage others to do so as well. 😊 Mahalo nui loa!!!!

Very friendly. Had 2 great dives at tunnels beach. Excellent dive site from a limited access beach. Great small family operation. Accommodated our group of certified and non certified divers. Saw sharks, turtles octopus, Monk seals, caves, lava tubes and much more. Cassie was amazing. Thank you for showing us a great time.

The landing was packed with other companies which could be a bad thing but in this instance it allowed comparison to the others there. As my wife and I walked up we were engaged by another company that my be great drive instructors but lacked in conversational ability... They were kinda of goon-ish. It was as if they were talking talking down to us because we didn't book with them.
*one thing lacking was a sign on any of the trucks*
Anyhow after seeing Dylan he came over and introduced himself and started the paperwork. During this process he appeared to be evaluating our dive experience in a subtle way ( this outfit has good staff, diving is their product but customer service is their expertise).
Overall condition of the gear was great but some of the booties appeared to have seen better days (one looked like a dog toy) the rest of the gear was good.
After getting in the water and their "Cinderella fin" service it became clear this company was the right choice. First time divers get weird in the ocean more often than not and this was the case for my wife but Dylan didn't miss a beat he was cool as a fan and talked her into a comfortable state that kept us diving.
Our site was packed with turtles and what seemed to be an active underwater world.
We left with an education and memories.
If you want that fun/unique dive experience book with this company but if you want the basic cookie cutter experience book with the others.

We were very impressed on what we saw during our shore dive at Kaloa Landing. Wayne and Derek were very knowledgable and friendly, and pointed out turtles, eels and different types of fish. Granted there wasn't a big area to see (perhaps one tank instead of two tank dive would suffice), but there was quite a bit to see. Sure we didn't see whales or dolphins, but 'can't have high expectations from a shore dive. We got the premium service since we had two dive master/instructors for both of us :)
Downside was the price a bit high for a shore dive (about $130 per person for two tanks-we booked through the Cliffs) and there were no facilities in the area. They did have out-houses though.
I would recommend this if you want a quick dive without the boat ride and want to see quite a bit. Wayne and Derek were great and made the dives awesome!

Had a great Scuba adventure today with Watersports Adventures! I'm certified but haven't been in the ocean in 7 years. Wayne and Cassie were great guide giving me a refresher and giving my kids an intro to Scuba. Greg and Holly at the office were super helpful getting the dive setup.

My teen daughter, husband and I dove on Thanksgiving morning with Wayne on the south shore. Only my daughter and I had dove before but it was in a swimming pool 4 years ago! Haha! Wayne was amazing with training us, calming us down and then having us hang on to him as he took us down into a beautiful reef 40' down. The experience was life changing. We saw so much marine life it made both my family and I have a new appreciation for what lies in the sea. This is one thing in Kauai'i we will always come back and do! For someone looking for a great family experience, here would be the place to go! Wayne rocks! Mahalo!

This is an excellent scuba experience for beginners. My wife and I had never been scuba diving before, and Wayne and Derek made us feel safe and at home. It was clear that this place's first focus is on safety. Derek went through a maybe 45-minute introduction before we even hit the water, explaining how the gear worked, going through hand signs, and talking through how to ascend and descend safely. I was especially impressed by their perfect safety record over some 30 years of operation.
Once we got in the water, the safety precautions continued, with all of us holding onto Wayne's arms at first, and each other's hands later.
The views were amazing, with at least two turtles and many schools of tropical fish. And it was really, really cool to be able to breathe underwater! If I ever visit Kauai again, I'm definitely going back to these guys.

I went on a two-tank shore dive with Cassie July 22...our dive site was Koloa Landing. Both Cassie and the dive site were outstanding! Cassie's dive plan review was so... read more interesting...she covered some basic info in a way that was so informative. I've been diving since 1994...I think Cassie's dive plan was the best review I have ever experienced. There were only four divers in the group...I really appreciated the fact that they kept the group small and with similar experience. Cassie did such a great job of getting our attention and pointing out things of interest. We saw a frogfish, a lot of turtles, a zebra moray, a pepper moray, a snowflake moray, Hawaiian damselfish, an octopus, nudi eggs and a dragon moray. She kept the pace of both dives slow, relaxed and easy. I hope we return to Kauai some day and when we do, I will definitely be booking with Watersports Adventures! More

Greg Winston did a great job of reintroducing me to Scuba (I was certified in 1985 and logged over 150 dives around the world...but nothing since 2000). Friendly, knowledgeable,... read more and I love the 4 diver per dive master ratio they maintain. Highly recommended.
