Such a fantastic experience!!! My sister first went diving with Greg in 1997 and highly recommended him to us....20 years later my son Quinn( 9 years old)went for his first dive with Cassie, (Greg’s daughter) We came from Nebraska and this was his first experience in the ocean.... with fish, and he had an amazing time! My family and I came back to Kauai in July 2019 and this time my son went diving with Greg and yet again had an awesome experience where they saw an assortment of sea life including turtles, eels and even a reef shark! To say the least my son was hooked! In December 2019 I decided to take Quinn back to Kauai to get PADI certified with Watersports Adventurers(for his 12th birthday) Cassie was his instructor and was AMAZING! (she even sang Happy Birthday to him in Hawaiian!) We now live in San Diego so it would have been convenient to do the certification here, but because of the amazing and safe experiences we had with Greg and Cassie I wouldn’t have dreamed of going anywhere else! Plus I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my son. Cassie and Greg have given my son such an awesome opportunity and taught him to appreciate, respect and love the ocean and all of the creatures in it, especially on Kauai! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cassie, Greg and Watersports Adventures. I definitely know we will be going back and I would encourage others to do so as well. 😊 Mahalo nui loa!!!!
Kristy KremanVery friendly. Had 2 great dives at tunnels beach. Excellent dive site from a limited access beach. Great small family operation. Accommodated our group of certified and non certified divers. Saw sharks, turtles octopus, Monk seals, caves, lava tubes and much more. Cassie was amazing. Thank you for showing us a great time.

Beware Gregg's "free" intro to scuba class at the Cliffs at Princeton or any other resort. He will hard-sell his scuba services by trash-talking the other vendors on the island and does not give group discounts like the other vendors. When he saw us at the dive site with another company, he starting making snide comments about how he "wasted his time on us" and told us that he "doesn't need our business" and that he "is plenty busy. I don't give away my services for free." He was yelling at me to "shut your mouth" in front of his customers as he was entering the dive site!!!
A total unprofessional. Businesses like this cannot last.

Beware - Poor equipment checking and a bad attitude. After a nice sales pitch at the Westin Princeville, we unfortunately booked with this company. I was hoping for my son and I to have a good first scuba experience. Unfortunately it was frightening and stressful event due to unchecked equipment that likely had failed well prior to the dive and failed again on my dive. This has turned me off on scuba. The initial response from the instructor was to blame the guest. Don't risk your precious Kauai time with this outfit.

We had an introduction lesson with Gregg this afternoon at Westin Princeville today.
We have an 11 yo autistic son who was afraid of putting his face in the water. Within 10 minutes he had my son snorkeling in the pool with a noodle by himself. My son spent the next hour plus snorkeling. Thank you Gregg

What an experience! We have been to Kauai on several occasions and have never had an experience like this. We feel so lucky to have bumped into Greg and his team at our hotel when he shared with us the great adventures they offer along the North Shore of Kauai. The service was unlike any adventure I've ever had in an excursion and was beyond worth doing on out last day on the island, first thing in the morning. I can't wait to do it again the next time we visit! Cheers guys, to an fantastic and unforgettable experience!

My friend and I decided to try the Intro to Scuba excursion that was offered. We both had never been scuba diving and were a bit apprehensive. Luckily, we had taken a poolside scuba lesson, which made us more at ease with the equipment. Our excursion was located at Koloa Landing and we had 2 friendly instructors named Cassie and Wayne. Overall, for someone that is deathly afraid of the ocean and can't swim well, I had a great time and never felt scared. Would definitely do again if I return to the island.

I went on a two-tank shore dive with Cassie July 22...our dive site was Koloa Landing. Both Cassie and the dive site were outstanding! Cassie's dive plan review was so... read more interesting...she covered some basic info in a way that was so informative. I've been diving since 1994...I think Cassie's dive plan was the best review I have ever experienced. There were only four divers in the group...I really appreciated the fact that they kept the group small and with similar experience. Cassie did such a great job of getting our attention and pointing out things of interest. We saw a frogfish, a lot of turtles, a zebra moray, a pepper moray, a snowflake moray, Hawaiian damselfish, an octopus, nudi eggs and a dragon moray. She kept the pace of both dives slow, relaxed and easy. I hope we return to Kauai some day and when we do, I will definitely be booking with Watersports Adventures! More

Watersports Adventures gave a class at the hotel we were staying at.
After an hour of instruction in the pool w/ Gregg, we decided to take the dive... read more and go in the ocean. With clear instructions and the feeling of being safe, the 3 of us (including a 10 year old child) were able to successfully dive off the shore of Koloa a few days later!!
If it weren’t for my hesitation, I think we could have gone to as deep as 40 feet! (I think we went down 10-15 feet). We saw many fish, turtles and even an octopus!!
I’d definitely recommend Cassie and Gregg at Watersports Adventures and will look them up again when we come back to Kauai and try diving again! I think we are hooked!
Side note- you are not allowed to fly until about 24 hours after diving (due to nitrogen in the blood from diving) so book your diving trip early on in your trip!
